In Portal II, the sea becomes more than obstacle — it becomes a force of transformation.

The surface convulses and spirals upward into a vortex, as though the ocean itself were being drawn into an unseen centre. The landscape no longer provides stable orientation; instead, it frames a dynamic field of instability and power. The tranquil distance remains, but it is partially obscured by the turbulence of the present moment.

This painting speaks to periods of profound internal reckoning — when clarity is challenged and equilibrium dissolves.

There is no overt path forward here, only immersion. The work suggests that peace is not reached by avoidance of chaos, but through passage within it. Portal II holds both danger and possibility in a single, unified vision.
