This painting is an invitation into stillness. It emerges from lived experience: evenings spent alone at sea on my yacht, suspended between day and night. There is no drama here—only presence. The hush that settles when wind falls away. The subtle rhythm of water against hull. The awareness of being both small and immeasurably expansive at once.

Though rendered with realism, the work is less about depiction than about duration. It asks the viewer to remain. To breathe. To recall a moment when time slowed and the world reduced itself to essentials: vessel, horizon, light.
